Came back for the 2nd or 3rd time and it was once again delicious Did the 3 meat platter (pulled pork, sliced brisket and ribs) and it was delicious Side of mac and cheese was more then enough and even had some to bring home For jersey bbq this is super good
Mmmmm love this place for a casual lunch. My fav is to get a bunch of meats and sides and share with family. The absolute best items IMO are the brisket, the beans (!!!) and the brussels. Come try with fam or friends.
I would say this is a 3.5 rating but I gave them the extra half star! They have some good things and some not so good. I would say we really enjoyed their brisket, the beans, and the cornbread. We also loved their bbq sauce. We did not like their ribs... something was off. The Cole slaw also seemed old and stale so we ended up throwing it away. Waste of $4! We also wish the portion sizes were just a TAD bigger for the cost. All of that being said, we'll order from this place again and try the Mac and cheese next time! No ribs though
Oh my, never, ever, try the jalapeño poppers-you'll be ruined for life. Heaven on a plate. Everything is great, but the poppers are on my list every visit!

This was pretty pretty good! Very tasty. Nice size portions. Nice staff. Clean establishment. Wish Neptune location would reopen indoor dining. Will be back!
We are big fans of Local Smoke for wings and ribs in particular. But on St. Patrick's Day I found myself woefully unprepared and was thrilled to see that they had Corned beef and Cabbage. I ordered through GrubHub and had it swiftly delivered! Dinner saved! And it was really good!
